Here are a few words from Topher about himself:
i enjoy walks and climbing trees.
i've never had a girlfriend.
i don't want to have sex with you.
i don't eat meat.
i don't hate you if you eat meat.
i write daily.
i enjoy a good read.
i wander aimlessly.
i don't like staying in one place too long.
i get very anxious in social situations.
i was homeschooled.
i hate telephones.
i love not wearing shoes.
i despise violence.
i do not think "soldier" is a respectable occupation.
the same goes for "police officer" and "president."
i do not salute any flag.
from anywhere.
for any reason.
i believe the teachings of Y'shua HaMashiach.
i believe in respect and love for all humans.
including and especially those who would make themselves my enemy.
i refuse to treat anyone as an enemy.
i work to forgive.
i pray to be humbled.
i desire to serve.

Hi,
It was cool to read the list you wrote in your blog.
I could also relate to the part about being very anxious in social situations-- I used to get that way too. I actually was diagnosed with 'social anxiety disorder' which is just a fancy way of describing shyness.
Anyway, it may not be for you, but I just wanted to pass on that I made a lot of progress with that by going to Social Anxiety Anonymous telephone support groups.
(They are a non-profit, not a business, and very cool and supportive and encouraging, plus their groups are free).
Anyway, I would call into the groups and there is never any pressure to talk at all (its OK to just listen) and they share lots of helpful healing tools for Social Anxiety / Shyness / whatever you want to call it-- and although it took time for it to start to work, it eventually helped me a lot: http://www.healsocialanxiety.com
One more thing, I just read that you also hate telephones (is that part of the anxiety?).
If so, Social Anxiety Anonymous also has local support groups in some areas.
Plus one thing about the telephone conference call support groups groups-- you don't have to speak at all-- so you can actually just listen, even for weeks or months, and still learn a lot as they share all kinds of healing tools for social anxiety...
Have a good one!
