DJF on June 2, 2007

DJF will be the first artists to appear in the Howe Summer Concert Series, Music in the Park. All concerts will be held in the Town Square Park on State Road 120 in Howe, Indiana. DJF is very familiar to music fans in Howe. They have performed in several venues in the community and are appearing as a part of our summer series for the second time.

Drawing from an eclectic musical combination of medieval to contemporary, the multi-talented Fraileys, who make up DJF, perform a wide mix of classic, contemporary folk, rock, roots, country, Celtic, Christian and original music. Known for their beautifully blended harmonies, solo vocals and versatility in musicianship, the popular Indiana-based duo will be joined on stage by their talented teen-age daughter, singer-songwriter and musician, Adrienne Frailey.

Drew, with his own outstanding solo vocals, plays acoustic guitar and mandolin. He has taught guitar and accompanied many noted musicians in their studio recording sessions.

Joy's outstanding vocals and her versatility in instrumental performance on guitar and bodhran are deep-rooted from a Scots-Irish/Cherokee family with four generations of musical background. Her talent and love of Celtic/ traditional music is reflected in her own voice as well as her original compositions.

The Frailey's daughter, Adrienne, brings her own insightful songwriting to the next generation. Her beautiful solo vocals and acoustic guitar abilities bring a further dimension to the DJF experience.
